Concept
Just minutes away from Cannes and Nice Airport, Hôtel Belles Rives is an Art Deco gem overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean. This property, owned by the same family since the 1930s, is now led by the fourth generation, 41-year-old Antoine Chauvin-Estène. It embodies the breezy extravagance of a bygone era while showcasing modern design. The name Belles Rives (beautiful shores) perfectly captures the charm of this boutique hotel. F. Scott Fitzgerald stayed here at Villa Saint-Louis before it was transformed into Hôtel Belles Rives in 1929. The property feels more like a private home than a typical hotel. Current administration has overseen a sensitive renovation, preserving original features like stained-glass windows and mosaic floors, staying true to the hotel's Belle Époque roots. The dining area, however, boasts a contemporary vibe with frescoes influenced by Picasso and Léger, and colorful hand-blown glass from artisans in Biot.
